 The Lovely Ladies of 201 Waldron 
The ladies of Phi Mu would like to say congratulations and welcome our wonderful new Fall 2007 pledge class. Thanks so much for making it such a great success!
Scholarship and success in academics play a key role in our home; with our house GPA increasing each semester Phi Mu provides its members with tutors, study tables, academic files, and stresses the importance of having a strong individual and overall house GPA.
On top of working hard to get good grades many of us are active members throughout campus and in the Greek community. Two years ago one of our beautiful ladies was a 2006 Homecoming Queen Nominee. You can also spot Phi Mu’s in BGR leadership positions, on the Greek Marketing Team, Dean’s list, Panhellenic Association, Purdue Student Union Board, Dance 2XS, Order of Omega and many other academic honor societies. We have girls in high places!
Being active in our community and around our campus is important to us we enjoy the numerous opportunities to give back to Purdue that Greeks get by participating in the admirable tradition of philanthropies. Our own house sponsors a dance competition where a fraternity and a sorority pair up and choreograph a dance that is judged by members of other houses. We also hosted Christmas party with Sigma Phi Epsilon for underprivileged kids where they get to enjoy making crafts and receiving presents.
We also take part in intramurals. These fun and competitive sports are a good way to get our game faces on! We are top in soccer, football, softball, and last year we played in the Championship basketball game.
Phi Mu places great value on academics, giving back to the community, involvement in philanthropies, intramurals, and most of all having fun! Phi Mu’s sisterhood is our honor and truth that represents us and our love that bonds us. We would like to wish you good luck at Purdue this upcoming year and hope that you get to experience the friendships and undeniable love that we have found and established here at Phi Mu.
